YACHTING RULES
(To tht Editor.) Sir, —I cannot agree that ''Lee O" has said anything that gives me cause for altering my opinion on the rule in ques- ■ tiqn. I am. doubtful also whether any good will be done in continuing this discussion. I do think, however, that much has been accomplished in calling general attention to the matter, aild ,1 sincerely hope that members with initiative will j raise the question at their club meetings! and eventually have the whole matter thrashed out by the Yachting Association. If the decision.is against my. convictions, I shall for evermore hold my peace,-but I am confident that general opinion will result iii a.very different verdict. Thanks are, due to Captain. Maclndoe for his public-spirited; action in raising, this . question in the first: case, rand also to ■ "Lee O" and;that brilliant: correspondent "Centre-boarder" for bringing differ* ent sides of the question before thelnotice of the yachting public—l am, etc., ' - : '■ CENTRE-BOARDER.
