OPENING DAY PROSPECTS
The Hawera Trotting Club's Annual Meeting will be- held at Hawera on Saturday . and Monday,. and the first day's fields, with the exception of the trotters' events, are of a bandy: size. Porm displayed at Wanganui during the past fortnight should give- a useful clue to'most events, but there is an infusion of new blood that may on occasions prove the dominating factor.
