"Whero Elephants Go to Die" is a good African story, w.ell told, and is followed'by a^ equally good Nature study, the albatross being" the subject. Stories and poetry, all good, make up a readable number. The' children next in age are provided with some "Alice" adventures, the Gryphon on the seashore being the special part taken. A camping story, and one of the Esquimaux follow on well, and for the very small ones there are charming little yarns and poetry to suit.
