(By -Telegraph—Press Association.) • "•'.'.■ /AUCKLAND, This Day: j • Damage to the extent of £3500. was done.by a fire whieK at about 5 o'clock this morning gutted twe rfioois of the factory-and warehouse of Takle Bros., Ltd.; upholsterers' suppliers and flock merchants, at freeman's Bay, Practically the whole, stock was destroyed, and damage by fire and water was caused to the stock of , the New Zealand Theatre- - Chair Company, in tho basement. The latter company's loss is estimated at £800, and tho insurances total £1400 in the Atlas Office. The insurances on TaHe's building and stock exceed £4000, .in tho Alliance Office'
