A WOMAN DOCTOR
NEW ZEALANDER'S SUCCESS
-Dr. Adah Platts-Mills (Wellington) who has been resident medical officer tor some time at the British .Hospital for Mothers and Babies, Woolwich, has been* successful in gaining the Diploma of the College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, London (D.C.0.G.). This is a new diploma, arranged with a view to raising the standard of practice of these two subjects amongst general practitioners, and this is the first time the examination has been held On leaving Woolwich Dr. Platts-Mills went to St. James' Hospital, Balham, where she is at present anaesthetist for 1000 beds. .
