Complaints have been made to the Minister of Labour that many unem-, ployeS men are afraid to start, work' where work is offering owing to threats ot personal violence and ot'icr acts of intimidation by strike leaders. The police have been apprised of the complaints, and Government relief depots have been.instructed that men on strike must not receive food coupons, though women and children and dependants^, will continue to be helped under medical advice.
