Osaka and Tokio papers report that a group of Manchurian and Korean farmers near Han, Manchuria, attacked Japanese troops' and several were killed and wounded," including Colonel lizuka and several officers. Hsinking reports indicate that the farmers were annoyed over laind policies. .
