LIVING LONG
. In the village of Verbasz, In Macedonia, out of 400 inhabitants,, twenty are over 100 years old. No death has occurred in the village for over two years, except that of a new-born child. The reason for the extraordinary longevity which this village produces hag not yet been ascertained, though its' climate is declared to be ideal. The aged inhabitants, however, eat, drink, and smoke to their hearts' content.. ,
