APPEAL BOARD MEMBER

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHUBCH, This Day. A pertinent fact in connection with tramway affairs in Christcliurch is that the Tramway Appeal BoaTd consists of a Stipendiary. Magistrate, Mr. 11. A. Young, a representative of the old Tramway Board, Mr. W. Hayward, and a representative of the union. , The Appeal Board will shortly hear appeals from probably 19 motormon disrated to tlic rank of conductor. These men were engaged during the strike. The Tramway Board has now a 'majority of Labour members, and they consider that Mr. Hayward should resign from the Appeal Board to make way for a member from the present Tramway Board.
