A cordon of police aitd soldiers still surrounds Westport Barracks to prevent the rescue of General O'Duffy, though I an impromptu meetiug of tho Blue Shirts made no suggestion of this. The officials made General O'Duffy and his companions comfortable in temporary cells.
General O'Duffy will b& charged after Christmas with the political offence of wearing a blue shirt.
