(Received December 19, 11 a.m.) LONDON, December 18. Lord ac Clifford in. a 30-horse-power Lagonda car made the fastest run from Dieppe t6 BlindiSi ever recorded, covering 1638 miles in 44£ hours' running time.
Lord do Clifford -and two others drove in turns and averaged 36.4 miles all hour for the whole run, which beat tho express train by three hours, despite the fncfc that the motor r.outo is* 300 miles longer. Tho car encountered heavy snow in' Central France, and occasionally reached a speed, of 00 miles an hour.
