CHANCELLOR'S FINE FORM

Although the field for the Great Northern 1 rotting Derby is disappointing from' the point of view of numbers, the quality is good and the race will not be devoid of' interest (says "Abydos"). While the form of Chancellor is outstanding, his three rivals, Great Chum, Ringtrue, and Rare Rey, are classy three-year-olds who .will be greatly improved as aresult of recent racing. ; At his firtft start Ringtrue ran'a very fine race, and it was unfortunate, that a severe cold interfered with his preparation -before'the Auckland Meeting, but even with this disadvantage he raced, prominently.
