PASSION FRUIT'S SISTER
■Los Quex, who is'due to make her appearance in the Maiden Plate at Awapuni next Tuesday, is the four-year-old fullsister to Passion Fruit aild Passion Flower. If she has any of their ability she should not be long in leaving maiden ranks. This filly had five starts as a two-year-old, without filling a place, and since then 'she has been off the scene. She is owned by Messrs. J. Nicholson and A. Gustofl'son (who now also owiib Pin Money), and previously she was trained at Riccarton by W:-Stone and T. H.. Gillett, but she is now being prepared at Awapuni. She is' said to have grown into a big type of mare, and because of her good breeding her reentry to the racing arena1 has more than passing interest.
