(Received December 13, 2.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, December 18. At Rockville, Maryland, what is believed to be the first case of its kind opened today when.the State began an
attempt to prove in a Court action that Mrs. Cora Britton died as the result of a "secret cancer cure." Salve was applied to her breast by two physicians who were charged with manslaughter, the woman having died last May in hospital, where she was taken after nine weeks' treatment.
The defendants, pleading not guilty, testified that the treatment given hacl been given to others with much success).
