EMPRESS OF BRITAIN
ROUND-THE-WORLD VOYAGE
(BriUsb Official Wlr«l(U.) RUGBY, Decmaber 17. The' Canadian Pacific liner Empress of, Britain, which sailed from Southampton fOr New York on Friday after her annual overhaul, will after a cruise from New York to the West Indies, proceed on a. 30,000 miles trip round the world, taking 124 days. This is the Empress's third round-the-world voyage. Passengers to New York in tha vessel included Mr. Robert Bingham, United States Ambassador to Britain, and Mrs. Bingham, who will .apend Christmas with their family. The' Ambassador will return to London in February.
