MEN FOR NAVY
ENLISTMENT ACTIVE
(Received December IS, 9 a.m.) LONDON, December 17: Sir Dudley Pound, the Second Sea Lord, has revealed Admiralty plans for a big recruiting drive for enlistment in the Navy. Enlistment has reached roekbottom, and 8000 new men a year will henceforth be necessary to maintain the strength of the service and to fill ' (he places of- time-expired men. Only a small increase in nersonnel is contemplated.
