SACRED HEART COLLEGE
WELLINGTON OLD BOYS MEET
The sixth annual general meeting of the Wellington branch of the Sacred Heart College Old Boys' Association was held recently at the St. Vincent de Paul Society's rooms. Mr. T. B. Gusscott presided over a large attendance. In presenting the annual report, Mr. Gusscott thanked all those who had taken such an interest in the work of the branch, and appealed to others* to take a more active part. Two reunions had been held during the year. Twice during the year contests with the St. Patrick's College Old Boys' Association, at cricket and tennis, had been held. On behalf of tbe Marist Brothers, the Rev. Brother Eugene extended thanks for the support which the branch had given their work of Catholic education. It was decided to send a letter of congratulation to the Rev. Dr. Gilhooly on his recent ordination to the priesthood at an unusually early age. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. T. B. Guabcott; hon. treasurer, Mr. J. OHiver; hon.. secretary, Mr. V. M. Gormly; hdn. auditor, Mr7R.'C. Brads-haw; committee, the Rev. Father D. Nolan (Kilbirnie), Messrs. H. Cuming', F. J. Davey, C. K. Eville, and T. A. Parsons.
