Milder weather conditions saw' good •coring in the stroke competition played at Waiwetu over the weekend. This was won by Mrs. N. 0. Maitland, 100, 35—65, next being W. Gregory, '89, 22—67; N. 0. Maitland, 78, 9--69; and J. B. Wallace, 75, 5—70. The following scored points in the Summer Cup:—Mrs. Maitland 3, W. Gregory 2, N. 0. Maitland 1. No further competitions will be held until' January 6, although the links will be open for play during the holidays.
