EXTENSION AT MATAURA

Within the ..next-: six mpnths"; it is^ intended to commence an important extension to the plant and .buildings of Now Zealand Paper Mills, Ltd., at Mataura. The new mill will. comprise a modern paper-making machine capable of running, a, width of-160 inches. ■. .-■--. It is hoped that a considerable portion of the preparatory- plant will be made in the Dominion, and local iron-founders will be given every opportunity and facility for quoting for this heavy section of the work. The new building will occupy approximately 17,000 square feet," the greater proportion of which is to be of two storeys. The additional plant will be electrically,.driven, throughout.
