CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY SING.
Extraordinary Interest attaches to. the speoial Christmas carol sing to be held in the Town Hall tonight, because no similar function lias been held in Wellington during the past eleven • years. The sing has been organised by the Community Singing Committee, which conducted such a successful season during the winter months. Associated with the committee will be the AVellington Harmonic Society, under tho couductorshlp of Mr. H. Temple White. Tho soloist will bo Miss Teresa McEnroe, and the song leaders Messrs. Owen Prltchard and AVill Mason, witli Mr. Frank Crowther at the piano, and Tilr. Lawrenco Hnggltt at tho grand organ. Tho committee extends a welcome to everybody to usher in the festive season with this night of joy. The proceeds of the sing are to be devoted lo the Wellington Free Ambulance and the Red Croas Society.
