FOREIGN TOADE
AN AMERICAN SCHEME
SPECIAL CORPORATION
NEW YORK, December 16. The Associated Press understands that Mr. George Peek, who recently retired from the office of Agricultural Adjuetment Commissioner, contemplates the organisation of a special corporation ta handle all American foreign trade oa behalf of private industry. The Government will share the capitalisation of the corporation, which is likely to 'approximate a billion dollars.
The corporation will supervise »th-» production to he exported, while, the Government will undertake to negotiate tariff agreements to make such trade possible.
It is emphasised that the plan is still in its formulative stage, and nothing definite has been decided.
