PRICE OF GOLD UNCHANGED

The dollar rallied moderately in the foreign exchange market today, although Washington dispatches indicated that .he President had not changed his gold-buying programme. The price of gold in the meantime remained unchanged. Again sterling rose to 5 dollars 15 cents under overnight inflationary sentiment, but dropped upon tho announcement of today's gold price. Speculative markets were quiet and irregular. Stocks weakened by late trading. Commodities moved in a narrow range. Bonds were mixed in light trading.
