APPOINTMENT MADE
SYDNEY, December 15,
The Premier, Mr. B. S. B. Stevens, has announced the appointment of Mr. F. E. Jordan, EC, as Chief Justice of New South Wales in succession to Sir Philip Street, who has rotired.
