FEDERAL PROPOSAL
• ' SYDNEY, December 15. Tho Federal Government is content-, plating a goodwill trade mission to Japan, and the Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, has invited Mr. J. G. Latham, Acting . Prime Minister, to undertake | 'the trip with a staff of experts. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith has offered to pilot the. Southern Cross to Tokio with Mr. Latham and a group of ofiicials. The offer is now under consideration. Besides being Acting Prime Minister, Mr. J. G. Latham is Attorney-General, Minister of External Affairs, and Minister of. Industry.
