SWIMMING
PRIMARY SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION
A change in the management of several of the Wellington primary school children's swimming competitions was forecast at the sixth annual meeting on Thursday of (he Wellington Primary Schools' Amateur Swimming Association, when a motion was passed changing the name of the organisation. It is now to be called the Wellington Public. Primary Schools' Amateur Swimming Association. Another motion was passed stating that the association should henceforth conduct only such events as were for competition between pupils of public primary schools. It was decided that an effort should be made for, representatives of the association, 'the centre, and the private schools to meet and arrange the disposal of the trophies. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron. Mr. G. L. Stewart; president, Mr. W. Binet Brown; vice-presidents, Messrs. B. Kean and W. Hickson; honorary secretary, Mr. F. M. Pinfold; honorary treasurer, Mr. N. B. G. Bragg; management committee, Miss F. Fogelberg, Messrs. H. Hamilton, G. Grant. B. T. Gardner, H. G. Macdonald. L. Bansgrove, J. H. Finlayson, N.
