OTAGO HARBOUR ENTRANCE.

The Marine Department advises that the rear lighted leading beacon in the Otago Harbour entrance is being removed to a position lGSVideg, 2150 ft (approximately) from the front lighted leading beacon. TANKER VARANGER DELAYED,

The Gllmore Oil Company's chartered tanker Varanger has been delayed and will not now reach Lyttelton before late on Monday. She will leave for Wellington on Tuesday evening, and after discharge she will sail either late on Wednesday night or early on Thursday morning for Auckland.

OUTWARD BOUND FROM LONDON

The Remuera left London on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Timaru. She Is due at Wellington about January 20.
