WAITAKI FARMERS' FREEZING CO.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association) OAMARU, This Day. lhe annual meeting of the 'Waitaki I'armers' Freezing Co. was held yesterday. lhe chairman, Mr. J. E. Austin, in his address, said that the profit, after depreciation and income tax, was £4781, enabling the company to pay a dividend of 3 per cent, and a bonus of 2 per cent., a total of 5 per cent., with £305 to be carried forward. Comparison of the present output with that of ten ago showed that it had been doubled. The chain system had.enabled, the. -\t-orks to handle larger ■daily killings. The retiring directors, Messrs. J. R. McCulloeh, K. Hamilton, and R. AY. Trotter, were re-elected, and Mr. D. V. G. Smith was reapnointed auditor.
