EARTH TREMORS
REPORTED FROM .CUNNING
(Received December 16, 2 p.m.) SYDNEY,' This Day. More severe earth shocks have beea experienced at Gunning. -Residents became alarmed when plaster fell from the walls of houses and the face of a quarry on the town common shifted, workmen in the quarry running before an avalanche of falling earth. Scisomographs in Sydney registered the tremors, but experts say that there i* no cause for anxiet3 r. Tremors have been occurring in th« district intermittently for some years, but they have been more frequent and pronounced during the present year, during which many buildings have been damaged. The last shocks were felt oa December 8.
