EFFECT OF DROUGHT
PRODUCTION FALLING OFF
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAWEEA, This Day. There has been no rain in South Taranaki this month, and there was only 1.53 inches in November. The pastures are drying up, particularly in the coastal regions. Production is falling off and the anticipated increase of 25 per cent, will not now be realised. Farmers will ■ consider themselves fortunate if last season's production is equalled.
