General o'Duffy has announced the dissolution of the Young Ireland Association and has served a writ on the Attorney-General asking for a High Court declaration. The new League of Youth, a legal body, which will take over the entire organisation of the Blue Shirts, is described a.s a disciplined, unarmed organisation. Its objects include the voluntary reunion of Ireland, the promotion of social order, opposition to Communism and alien influence dn Irish affairs. Members are pledged to safeguard the interests of the United Ireland Party, and may wear a blue shirt or blouse jacket as the league's emblem. :
