LOW PRICES IN LONDON
United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 15, 11 a.m.) LONDON, December 14. Danish butter is firm at 116s to 113s per cwt, but other butters are quiet. Choicest salted New Zealand and Australian are both quoted at 60s to 70s per cwt. Unsalted New Zealand is 76s to 78s, and Australian 74s to 765. The cheese market is dull. New Zealand coloured, 45s per cwt, white 48s to 495; Australian coloured cheese, 445. Samuel Page and Son. cabled JJalgety and Co., London, December 14, as follows: —Butter: Market slow. Danish, 114s t0.1165; New Zealand finest salted, 69s to 71s; Australian finest nnsalted, 72s to 765; Australian finest salted, 68s to 71s; Australian G.A.Q., 66s to 68s. Cheese: Market quiet. New Zealand, white, 48s to 495; New Zealand, coloured, 455; spot price for Canadian, white 46s to 525, coloured 46s to 525. A. J. Mills and Co., London, December 14, advise:—Prices as ruling at the close of business.on Thursday were: —Butter: Market weak. New Zealand, finest 70s per cwt, firsts 69s to 70s; Danish, 110s to 112s; Danish, f.0.b., 945; Australian, 69s to 70s; Siberian, 64s to 68s. Cheese: Market is steady. New Zealand, white 48s, coloured 455. Canadian, white and coloured, 49s to 525.
