Last evening thd Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe were present at the. annual prize-giving ceremony at Wellington College, when his Excellency presented the prizes and delivered an address. This afternoon their Excellencies at-' tended the prize-giving ceremony at Marsden School, Karori, and 'the Gov-ernor-General presented the school prizes. ■, The appointment of Colonel J, L. Frazerhurst, M.D., New Zealand Medical Corps, as Director of Medical Services, has been extended to November 30, -1934. ■ • . The appointment is gazetted of. Cap? tain Edwin G. Morris, Royal Navy, to be Director of Naval Reserves. Mr. Percival A. Hillary has been elected a member of the' New Zealand Honey Control Board.1 ' ■ Canon Percival James,M.A,,' at the Wellesley College prize-giving ceremony; last night was presented' by the. prin.--cipal (Mr. W.
