LOCAL BODY DISSOLVED
SYDNEY, December 13. Sudden and unprecedented action was taken by the Government today when it dissolved the Bankstown, Municipal Council and appointed an administrator until a fresh election is held, The Government acted on an adverse official report, which, is alleged to reveal irregularities in the tenders for a sanitary contract.
