PROPOSAL REJECTED
The pioposal to build a lock gaiden as a memorial to the pioneer members of the Hutt Knei Board was definitely iejected by the boaid yestoidav. > The jdea was'that the g.nden should be made ;om the club's side of'.the'boundary between the propcity of the Hutt Bowling Club and Ridditord Paik, and that the expense ' should be shared between the Borough Council and the R^er Boaid, the club allowing its ground to be used. Mr. J. Brasell said that as the piopo^ed gaiden was not on the board* land the boird Tv^uld ha\e no jmisdiction o\er it. Ho niOAC'l tliat the pioposal be not cnteitained. , s Tho chairman (Mr.'F. J.
