DISASTROUS FIRE
SAWMILL FIRM'S HEAVY LOSS
(By Telegrapn.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") BAETIHI, This Day. A disastrous fire broke out at Goldfinch and Co.'s sawmill, between Ohakune and Eangataua, yesterday afternoon. There isno water in the vicinity, and the timber stacks wero soon ablaze, about 100,000 super, feet of timber being totally destroyed. The- firm are heavy losers. The sawmill has not been working for some time, the bush having been cut out.
