BANKER RETIRES.
Mr. C. W. Wren, joint general manager in Australasia, with Mr. Ernest O'Sullivan, of the English, Scottish, and Australian Bank, will retire, on December 31. Mr. Wren will have been for 62 years in the service of the bank when he retires. Mr. Joseph Ewing, chief inspector, will sueced Mr. Wren as joint general manager with, Mr. O'Sullivan. Mr. Ewing entered the service of th«-bank in Sydney; in 1893.
