At the Sydney wool'sales today, 12,235 bales were offered, of which 11,532 were sold at auction; 3053 bales were sold privately. There was strong general competition from Yorkshire, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, and local users, with satisfactory clearances. The market wap firm. Greasy merino made 29% d for four bales from Upper Manilla.
