One clauso extended from three months to six months the time in which action could be taken. There was another clause dealing with tho question of stock mortgage, and making provision for a pooling system. Excellent work had been done under the mortgagors' relief legislation. Mr. W. J. Poison. (Government, Stratford) said he welcomed the bringing of the stock mortgagee into the pool. That had been pressed for for the past two years. The House was tinkering with the legislation from session to session, and there was no plan which would give peaco of-mind to the farming community. Mr. Poison ' said ■ the Bill should" contain reference to _ a per-, manent settlement of the question, and there should be some readjustment of vendor mortgages at least. The Bill' was read a second time pro forma, and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. % (Proceeding.)
