THE SESSION
TO CLOSE NEXT WEDNESDAY
The announcement that the present session of -Parliament would conclude next Wednesday : was made by the Prime Minister (the Et. Hon. G. W. Forbes) today. 'Mr. Forbes indicated that the usual pressure was being experienced in completing the preparation of the final measures to be submitted, and the intervention of debates on subjects not previously provided for had added to the delay in terminating the business of the . House. He now saw the way clear for reaching a conclusion of Parliament's business next Wednesday,
