', Dr. Leslie Burgin, Parliamentary^ Secretary to the Board of Trade, stated; yesterday that the export of British,' manufactured goods in November, 1933$ had risen by 14 per cent, from Noveuin her, 1932. The total value waa £34,000,000 compared with £28,000,000! in January, 1933, since when there haij been a continuous rise. ... ■ . The Board of Trade returns for JSTov* ember show that for the fifth successive) month British exports have increased* The figures are:— ' . Imports, £63,734,338, an increase o$ £1,963,285 t on October and ofj £2.218,422 on the previous November* Exports, £34,434,969, an increase o£. £303,983 on October and of £3,341,283 on the previous November. Compared with November, 1932, lasfc month's imports show a decline ofl £2,335,562 in food, drink, and tobacco^ and an increase of £3,332,117 in rawj materials and mainly unmanufactured! articles. .
