LONDON AERODROME

PLATFORM OVER THAMES

ELABORATE SCHEME

LONDQN, December 12,

A project for the construction of a huge aerodrome in tho heart of London, in the form of a platform above the Thames between Southwark and Blaekfriars bridges, is shortly being introduced to the County Council.

Tho project is on, similar lines to those* advocated by the famous air pioneer, Air-Commodore Samson, shortly before his death in 1931.

The scheme involves passengers ascending by lifts to a platform a quarter of a mile long, and sufficiently high to enable ships to pass beneath.
