Dealings began on the Stock Exchange this morning in the new Argentine 4 per' cent.. A certificates at £106 10a to £107 10s, and 5% per cent, bonds B certificates on .basis of £104 10s'to £105 10s, while 5 per cent, bonds C certificates gold at £C 1 10s to £62 10s.

Stock markets are generally firmer. British funds advanced slightly with 3% per cent. War Loan £100 11s 3d. Home fails were steady and ' Argentine rails higher. Foreign bonds were irregular, but German issues were unaltered. Kaffirs were firmer on the gold price increase.
