The Ladies' Guild had also raised more during the year. The Young Women's Bible Classes had given special financial assistance,."so that the year-ended with an overdraft less than the previous year. There would be- several liabilities connected with the new buildings to be faced ; this year, bo the report makes appeal for an extension of the envelope system of offering and for larger contributions to the general schemes of the church; : The income for. the'year totalled £592 17s Bd, the bank overdraft; being £170 14s 2d. The minister had made a rebate on his stipend last year andihad agreed to do so for this year for which the congregation expressed its ; thanks.
