PROHIBITION REPEAL
WET VOTE IN AMERICA
TWO-THIRDS MAJORITY OF
STATES
NEW YORK, November 7.
• Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Utah voted for the repeal at the Prohibition'! amendment today, thus completing the thirty-six "yes" States necessary for tho rejection of national Prohibition, The "wet" vote in the first two was overwhelming; Utah voted about three ; to two. Final ratification conventions * will j be held either on December 5 or 6, thus* returning liquor, control to the various. States. North and South Carolina voted against tho repeal of the Prohibition amendment.
Kentucky will vote tomorrow. /
