FINE WEATHER RETURNS

The weather was fine for the third duy of the Canterbury Jockey Club's -Metropolitan Meeting at Riccarton yesterday, and there was an excellent attendance' for "Ladies' Day." The track had recovered completely from the weekend rain and was in splendid order. The totalisator investments amounted ,to £22,414 (£11,253 win, £11,131 place), compared with £ 10,402 10s on the third day last year, making a total of £71,839 10s for the three days to date, as against £61,720 last year.
