SANDERS CUP TRIALS
SELECTORS APPOINTED
Three selectors were appointed by the Wellington Provincial Yacht and Motorboat Association last evening to choose the boat which will represent the* province at! the Sanders Cup contest at Lyttelton early next year. They were Mr. A. Stirling (Paremata) and Messrs. L. Robertson and E. W. Hargreaves (Evans Bay). Nominations of boats by the clubs which are conducting preliminary trials close on November 14, and the association's trials will probably take place later in the month. ' The following officials were appointed for the Anniversary Day Regatta and other events to be sailed under the jurisdiction of the association:—Judge and timekeeper, Mr. L. G. Naylor; starter, Mr. A. Shearer; handicapping committee, Messrs. J. Moffat, A. G. Harvey, and' G. Tanner; stewards, Messrs. A. B. W. Darroch W. B Ginders, F. Christenson, Wi. Biddle, and W. H. Wagstaff. / .; It was decided to defer consideration of the venue 'of the regatta until the nest meeting.
