The Nelson .ferry :steamer Arahura, which has'been-laid up at Nelson during the winter months, will come back into the service on November 23 after going on to the Patent Slip here on November 21. She will take the Matangi'g sailing on November 23 while the latter vessel-slips.. The Matangi will resume on November 25, and the, Arahura will sail for Nelson on Monday, November 27, the vessels then running In conjunction during the summer months. The KaltoaVlast trip from Wellington' will be on Friday, November 24. MEIKO MARU FOR AUCKLAND. The Melko Maru, which loaded jarrah at Bunbury for New Zealand' ports,'is reported to have left there-last week for Auckland. She Is, due at Auckland about November 9 and will complete : discharge at Wellington,. Lyttelton, and Dunedln: After this she will load a further ; shipment of scrap-metal for Japan, following close on the tracks of the Nankwa Maru, which .is, at present at Wanganul. . WOOL SHIPMENTS. Three vessels have been chartered by O. H. Scales, Ltd., to load wool in New Zealand this season for the United' Kingdom and the Continent. They are the Benreoch, Bencruachan, and Anglo-Canadian, all of which hare been to New Zealand before. The Benreoch Is due at Plcton on December 13 from Port Kembla.
