(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHEISTCHURCk, November 1. A sharp rise of 3s in fat sheep occurred at the double market at Addington today: The yarding was too small for requirements. Of store sheep there was a fair yarding and good clearance, but ewes and lambs and wether hoggets were cheaper. Values were:—Good ewe hoggets (in;the wool), to 20s 6d; ordinary (shorn), to 13s 6d; shorn wethers, 8a to 13s 3d; good ewes and'lambs (all counted), 12s 9d to 143 6d; ordinary, 8s to 11s; good shorn crossbred wethere. 13s 6d to 16a 3d. There was a yarding of 900 fat lambs, rather more than required. The sale was firm at the start, but later eased. Values all round were on a par with last week at an average price of, 7%d to B%d. Value* were: Extra prime heavy lambs, to 26s 4d; prime, 22s' to 24s 6d; medium weight, 19s to 21s;6d; light; 16s to 18s 6d.
