CONCLUDING RESULTS

An enjoyable clay on the sports field was spent at Scots College yesterday, not only by the boy 6 but also" by those who assembled to see them in action. Detailf of many of the results were published in "The Post" yesterday. Up to that stage no records had been broken, except that prior to sports day'Bremner maj. had established a new record for 'the discus throw. /Yesterday afternoon's events were commenced with a parade of competitors, headed by the college pipe band, and in the contests which followed there was much to arouse the enthusiasm of those assembled. Owing to having undergone an operation in hospital, the principal (Mr. J. R. Sutcliffe) was un:iblo to be present, and Mr. V. F. 0. Francis acted in his stead. Notable among the results in the afternoon was a jiinior hurdles record byRobertson mill. The senior championship was won by Hunter maj., the intermediate and junior by Robertson mill.
