LACK OF GUIDANCE
FACING THE WORLD'S NEED
WANTED A LEADER
United Press Association—By Electric Telfe graph—Copyright. (Received November 2, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 1. The Rev. H. R. L. Sheppfird gives a stirring call to the Anglican community; for 10,000 churchmen who would be willing to walk with him to Lambeth Palace when the Archbishops and Bishops of the Empire'meet next, that "we may; say in respect and passion how deeply) we feel their lack of implicit guidance." .. ~:..-_ ~. Mr. Sheppard adds that his protest "is against the constant injunction to be patient. Church people will remain, crippled in the face of the world's need until a leader arises who will tell us what are the causes that must be fought for to the death and what: is the mera trimming of religion."
